About us
Cylinder Production AS. Established in 2000. Based in Oslo. Develops and produces documentaries, features and industry films. Cylinder provides full production services through our separate department Norwegian Film Service (NFS). NFS can provide production responsibility for TV-commercials, documentaries and corporate films, promising high-end production values at very competitive rates. We have the capacity to do any service task needed for a successful production. Furthermore, we provide reliable access to the best professional networks, talent and logistical facilities required for project completion.

Gaute Lid Larssen
Executive Producer
CEO and chairman of the board. Director and producer. Worked professionally in film production for 25 years. Gaute has directed and produced commercials, infomercials, documentaries and TV-drama. Directed 200 episodes of the Norwegian TV Drama “Hotel Cæsar” for TV2. Nominated twice in category “best tv-drama” at Gullruten. Co-producer on Cylinders feature film, Essential Killing, in collaboration with Polish Skopia Film, French Iliade and Irish Element Pictures. Supported by The Norwegian Film Fund and Eurimage. Executive producer/facilitator for Cylinder’s service productions (NFS) since year 2000, producing for BBC, CBS, Al Jazeera, Discovery Channel, among others.

Heidi Arnesen
Executive Producer
Partner and board member. Graduated with a bachelor in fine arts from CCA in California. Made a feature film (Some Prefer Cake), 8 short films, over 200 episodes of the night time drama “Hotel Cæsar” and several TV documentary series for Norwegian networks, one (Celebrity babysitter) which sold to Dr. Phil in the US. Lived in San Francisco, CA for 9 years before relocating to Oslo in 1998. Became partner in Cylinder in 2015.
